THE PARANORMAL MD is a technology based paranormal research group. Our mission is to explore reports of the paranormal and to document it in order to further our understanding of such phenomena. We work to educate people regarding the paranormal.

THE PARANORMAL MD approaches every case from a skeptical and practical point of view. This is perhaps the most important principle any paranormal investigator should have. THE PARANORMAL MD will always search first for the most rational explanation. Many groups immediately view any anomaly or that which seems unexplainable as a ghost and/or haunting. Sometimes evidence found is not directly indicative of a ghost, but simply doesn’t have an apparent explanation.

THE PARANORMAL MD investigators may be experienced, but we are not experts. No one in the field of paranormal exploration is as an "expert."  There is still no way to conclusively verify any claim as being a ghost or haunting. All we can conclude is that it is paranormal (out of the norm with no current logical explanation being available). This is why we investigate the paranormal, to look for answers in the hopes that someday we will have the explanations and answers. Keeping in mind the process of the scientific method, we always try to test our theories, and search for and document any "cause and effect" relationships. Simply put, we look for correlations.

THE PARANORMAL MD investigators do not do exorcisms, séances, or cleansings. However, we are aware of the need for some of our clients to address the spiritual aspects involved with what seems to be entities and a haunting. We will at your request make recommendations to those within those specific fields who are more qualified than us should you want to bring in a medium, or have a cleansing performed. The individuals we suggest to you for these services are in no way affiliated with The Paranormal MD and may charge for their services.

THE PARANORMAL MD does investigate outdoors for anything that may fall under the paranormal "umbrella". However, you must be aware that if you are outside, you are not in a controlled environment. Water vapor, bugs, dust, etc. can all show up on film and look like "orbs" or other purported paranormal phenomena. Sounds can carry in unpredictable patterns and be very distorted outside. When outside in certain weather environments, lights from cars, or planes, and even our own lighting equipment can look anomalous in pictures and video at night. There is a good chance for evidence contamination, and it is more times than not difficult to discern the true nature and/or facts. THE PARANORMAL MD does not investigate in cemeteries, parks, or the like.

THE PARANORMAL MD does not charge for its services. If a paranormal investigative group does want to charge you for its services you are being ripped off! There are plenty of legitimate paranormal investigative groups, like The Paranormal MD, that do NOT charge for its services.  Charging for services in no way indicates that a group is better than one that does not charge for its services. Actually, you should be more leery of those who charge and you should avoid them.

THE PARANORMAL MD does offer educational classes through local colleges to individuals who may potentially want to become a paranormal investigator. HOWEVER, the classes are simply to educate individuals on the many known aspects and theories within the field, and to train them to understand and use the bases of the process of the scientific method (even though not exactly, as paranormal phenomenon is random and can not be truly tested in proper manner as is needed if following the Scientific Method) as they investigate and experiment. It is important for an investigator to be able to discern between anomalous behavior and that which may truly be paranormal. Also, proper documentation of the data collected is crucial.  Gaining an understanding into the various scientific fields, and technologies, and the equipment, as it applies to paranormal investigating and events will only further the paranormal field as a whole.  THE PARANORMAL MD aspires to help create more thorough and better investigators for their own benefit and that of any future clients.

Objectives

·       To investigate the existence of paranormal phenomena and to try to ascertain the characteristic properties of it using the basis of the scientific method. We attempt to find scientific explanations for such phenomena.

·       To promote research into paranormal phenomena through cooperation between ourselves and other individuals, groups, organizations, or research institutions that deal with paranormal phenomena.

·       To provide assistance in the best possible manner to our clients in regard to problems that may be due to paranormal experiences.

·       To capture, collect, and discern information and data of paranormal phenomena through audio and visual means, and to document any changes to the atmosphere during the occurrence of a paranormal phenomenon.
